A photographer has teamed up with Santa Claus to bring a touch of Christmas magic to families and raise money for charity.
Adele Morris began her photography business Adele Morris Photography during Covid, specialising in newborn, children and family portraiture.
Originally from Llandybie and now living in Porthcawl, Adele has teamed up with Steel Works Santa – South Wales’ very own Christmas family who spread festive cheer every year raising thousands for charity.
Adele explains: “Allan Evans and his family are wonderful and since 2018 Allan, (Steel Works Santa) his wife and daughter have been attending garden centres, homes and parties spreading Christmas joy.
“This year I have teamed up with them to bring the Ultimate Christmas Experience. We will be making unforgettable memories during private meet and greets with Santa, which will be captured in the most beautiful fine art portraits that families can treasure forever.
“We will also be raising money for Alzheimer’s Wales and GIST Cancer UK, which are two charities I feel very passionate about.”
The multi-award winning photographer said setting up her businesses at the start of the pandemic was extremely challenging, particularly because she was also pregnant with her third child.
“I quickly learnt to diversify and offer my clients safe alternatives with the same high-end experience,” said Adele. “I was able to guide clients to carry out virtual shoots and provide me with the elements to create their portraits.”
She added: “As a creative person I am always learning and improving my skills and regardless of living in isolation for the majority of the last two years, most of my work has been internationally published in magazines across the UK and I’ve picked up multiple awards.”
Adele also created doorstep family portraits during lockdown to help raise money for the NHS.
Adele's love for photography began at the age of six when she picked up her first camera.
“It has always been a significant part of my life,” said Adele.
“I lost my grandmother to cancer and looking at photos helped me keep memories of her alive. That is why this latest project with Steel Works Santa means so much to me.”
