THE latest crime data for the Amman, Gwendraeth and Towy Valleys have been revealed by police.

Statistics show the number of crime reports and where they took place, detailing the different types of incidents police officers have had to deal for the month of June.

According to the latest figures from police.uk, a total of 344 reports regarding various crimes were made across the region, which includes, Ammanford, Cwmamman, Cross Hands, Llandybie, Tycroes, Llandeilo and Llandovery.

The most common crimes to have been reported included 149 violence and sexual offences, 49 public order offences and 42 anti-social behaviour offences.

Other crimes reported included criminal damage and arson (27), thefts recorded as 'other' (21), drugs (12), burglary (11), crimes listed as 'other' (12), vehicle crimes (9), shoplifting (7), possession of weapons (4) and robbery (1).

A total of 86 of the crimes reported were in and around Ammanford town centre, which included 35 violence and/or sexual offences.

Meanwhile 27 crimes were reported in the Llandeilo area and 33 in and around Cross Hands.

The location of the hotspots shown on the map have been anonymised.
