An Ammanford motorist has been banned from the roads for three years after admitting to drug-driving.
Mark Thomas, of Dol y Dderwen, Ammanford, was said to have driven a Citroen DS3 in Betws, on November 8 with 5.4ug/L Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol – also known as THC – in his blood.
Thomas also pleaded guilty to driving with no insurance to cover the use of the vehicle.
The 35-year-old was banned for three years by Llanelli Magistrates, fined £400 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £80 surcharge.
