Along with Senedd and Police and Crime Commissioner elections, there have also been a number of town and community council elections in Carmarthenshire.

There has been by-elections for six seats on the following town and community councils: Llanedi Community Council (Hendy Ward), Llanedi Community Council (Tycroes Ward), Llanelli Town Council (Elli Ward), Llanelli Rural Council (Pemberton Ward), Llannon Community Council (Tumble Ward) and Cwmamman Town Council (Tircoed Ward).

The local results are as follows:

Candidates: Emyr Huw Rees (Labour) 199 votes, Geena Ware (Plaid Cymru) 149 votes.
