Cut-price retailer Poundstretcher is to open a new store in Ammanford tomorrow.
The new College Street store will be swinging its doors open to customers at 10am tomorrow (February 20).
Bosses say it has created both part-time and full-time job rules to support the local economy while also donating £250 worth of vouchers to Ammanford Foodbank.
Poundstretcher says the new store will stock stylish homeware products, toiletries and confectionery.
A spokesman said the new store will be Covid-friendly so customers will be able to shop comfortably and safely.
Executive chairman, Nadir Lalani, said: “We are pleased to be opening a brand new store to the people of Ammanford.
“Our team is working hard to deliver an outstanding shopping experience, great service, and an enjoyable retail environment for all our new customers.”
Earlier this month Ammanford mayor Julia Bell said she was "delighted" that Poundstretcher had chosen to open its new store in the town.
"This is wonderful news," she said. "I'm sure it will be a huge success and will also benefit other businesses in our town."
