YSGOL Dyffryn Aman has raised more than £1,000 for Children in Need and local foodbanks.
Pupils at the school took part in a non-uniform day to mark Children in Need on Friday, November 13.
The school raised £1,100.
A cheque for £500 was sent to the national Children in Need charity with a further £600 being divided between the local foodbanks in Ammanford, Gwaun cae Gurwen and Cwmaman.
Head prefects Megan and Owen handed over the donations to representatives of the three food banks where the monies will be used to prepare resources such as hampers for the Christmas period.
Headteacher, Nerys Nicholas, thanked everyone involved.
