A BETWS man has been fined after pleading guilty to speeding on the A40.
Phillip Edmunds, of Treforis, Betws, was caught driving a Honda Civic exceeding the 70mph speed limit on the A40, Carmarthen – he was caught on camera travelling at a speed of 97mph.
The 40-year-old entered a guilty plea under the single justice procedure at Llanelli Magistrates' Court.
He was fined £80, ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 and £90 costs. His licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
