On July 10, Police and Crime Commissioner for Dyfed-Powys, Dafydd Llywelyn will hold a public meeting for Carmarthenshire County residents as part of a digital Community Engagement Day his office is organising.

This will be the Commissioner’s second virtual public meeting in Carmarthenshire following the public meeting held in May that was part of the Public Consultation on the new Carmarthenshire Policing Hub and Custody Suite to be built in Dafen, Llanelli.

Police and Crime Commissioner Dafydd Llywelyn said: “Last week I held a public meeting in Powys, where I had an opportunity to catch up with many residents and organisations who I met in January during the Knife Angel visit.

“It will be great to next week speak with residents in Carmarthenshire to address the issues and questions that the local people want to raise with me, and to also meet with some key partners to discuss their work.

“This will be my fourth virtual public meeting that is part of my community engagement days, and so far, other meetings held in Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Powys have been quite successful and it’s great to see how people have embraced the use of technology during the lockdown period.”

The meeting will be held between 11am and 12pm on Friday, July 10.

Mr Llywelyn said: “Anyone who wishes to attend the meeting next week, please contact my office for the specific details of how to join through Zoom."
