Amman Valley Mencap has announced that it is continuing with its bespoke support work of citizens with learning disabilities in Ammanford following the closure of iSmooth Community Café on July 26.
The charity wishes to allay any confusion and fears that it too would be closing at the end of July.
Amman Valley Mencap is "spreading its wings" and moving into the Amman Civic Hall in Margaret Street.
The charity will be continuing to offer support and recreational opportunities to our participants with learning disabilities.
A spokesperson said: "Our dedicated band of staff and volunteers will be delivering health and well being courses, total inclusion events and life skills opportunities to each participant five days a week.
"All of the citizens with learning disabilities are very excited to be moving to a bigger venue that will offer them far more opportunities to enjoy their days at Amman Valley Mencap to support them reach full potential.
"We would also like to assure anyone with a catered event at the Amman Civic Hall that iSmooth Catering Services is continuing to operate and all catered events will go ahead as planned.
"Amman Valley Mencap is heading into a very bright and exciting future working alongside and in conjunction with the Amman Civic Hall, Coalpit Studio Kitchen and iSmooth Catering Services."
