This year’s Sue Ladd and Friends Pink Ribbon Race took place again over the weekend starting and finishing at Penybanc RFC with its usual great support from the people of the community.
The committee thought that imagination of the participants again was out standing.
The event is now in its fifteenth year and is still as popular as ever, with 22 team taking part with again more than one hundred participants all in their various forms of fancy dress, allowing the community to show their support for people in need while having a bit of fun.
The committee would like to thank Penybanc RFC for its continued support, and most importantly the community for its continued support acknowledging that they are what make this event so great.
Money collected at the ribbon race on Saturday has been counted totalling to £4119.39
A spokesperson for Sue Ladd and Friends said: “This is a fantastic amount.
“Thank you all who donated and took part in the event on Saturday, June 29 to make this possible.”
