A female was taken hospital after falling in Ammanford this afternoon.
Wales Ambulance Service were called around 12.16pm on Thursday, June 20 after receiving reports of a person having fallen and injured themselves in Ammanford.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: "We responded with one ambulance and we were supported by the Wales Air Ambulance.
"One patient was transported by road ambulance to Glangwili Hospital, Carmarthen.”
An eyewitness told The Guardian: “The ambulance was called for an elderly lady living around the corner from Old Road near Bonllwyn.
”The air amblance crew looked after her until the paramedics arrived.”
