A COURT has ordered an Ammanford man to pay more than £500 after he admitted attempting to commit fraud.
Michael Thomas, of Mynydd Bach, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
On November 6, 2017, Thomas gave false detail in order to get £359.92 of clothes.
The 29-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence.
The matter was conditionally discharged for 24 months, however, he was ordered to pay £399.92 compensation.
He was also told to pay a £20 victim surcharge, and ordered to cover the £85 in costs.
