Firefighters were called to a grass fire between Garnswllt and Betws over Easter weekend.
Crews from Ammanford were attended the scene on Saturday, April 20 at 2.56pm.
Approximately one hectare of gorse land was well alight and extinguished by firefighters using a hose reel jet, a fogging unit and beaters.
The Fire Service left the incident at 05:58pm.
The cause of the fire has been determined as deliberate.
Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service is working with the Police to catch those who deliberately set fires and will support prosecutions.
