Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for witnesses to a one vehicle road traffic collision that happened around 10.35pm, Saturday January 5.
A 38-year-old man has died following a road traffic collision just outside Cilycwm.
The collision involved a red Honda quad bike along an unclassified road just outside the village towards Rhandirmwyn on January 5.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "The rider, a local man, sustained serious injuries and was conveyed to Heath Hospital in Cardiff.
"He sadly died in hospital on Sunday, January 6.
"We are appealing for witnesses to a one vehicle road traffic collision that happened around 10.35pm on Saturday January 5.
"If anyone has information on this incident please contact Carmarthenshire Roads Policing Unit on 101 quoting reference 294 of January 6."
