School children in Ammanford received a special visit from a surprise guest today.
Over the last 30 years, Ammanford Lions Club have been visiting schools with Pudsey Bear and raising money for Children in Need.
Members visited around 40 primary schools across Thursday, November 15 and Friday, November 16.
Ammanford Nursery was one of the schools who received a visit from the big yellow bear.
The nursery raised £170 for the charity by cooking, colouring, dancing and dressing up.
Allan Thomas, Secretary of the Club, said: “I love going into schools and seeing the joy on children’s faces.
“We enjoy the day and raise substantial sums of money thanks to the generosity of parents and staff."
