Spice Girls will bring their highly-anticipated Spice World Tour to Cardiff next May.

Earlier this month the world's biggest girl band announced a comeback stadium tour after months of speculation - but the dates didn't include Wales, much to the frustration of their Welsh fans.

But now Scary, Sporty, Baby and Ginger have given those fans what they 'really really want' by confirming a show at the Principality Stadium next year.

The group will be at Cardiff's Principality Stadium on Monday, May 27 (Bank Holiday Monday) with tickets on sale later this week.

Support will come from British singing star Jess Glynne.

The world's biggest girl band revealed they were reuniting for the first time in a decade in a video message on their brand new social media account.

The initial announcement of dates included shows at stadiums in Manchester, Coventry, Sunderland, Edinburgh, Bristol and London.

It marks a huge comeback for the group who have sold more than 85 million records worldwide.

Posh Spice Victoria Beckham will not feature in the tour. It is believed that she is instead focusing on her fashion business.

The group have not performed the hits such as Wannabe and Spice Up Your Life since the 2012 Olympics closing ceremony.

Tickets go on sale on Friday, November 16 at 9.30am and you can buy tickets from Ticketmaster website.
