Dyfed-Powys Police are investigating an assault which took place in Waterloo Road, Penygroes after a man disturbed two men trying to break into his garage.
A MAN was taken to hospital over the weekend after confronting two men trying to break into his garage.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Police are investigating an allegation of assault which occurred at approximately 3.10am on Saturday, September 29 in Waterloo Road, Penygroes.
"A 55-year-old male reported that he had disturbed two men trying to break into his garage.
"When he confronted the men he was assaulted and they ran off.
"The male was taken to hospital and later released.
"Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious is asked to contact Ammanford Police on 101.”
