Following the success of last year’s event, the Emergency Service Show is returning to Ammanford this weekend.
The event is taking place at Coleg Sir Gar, Ammanford this Sunday, July 22 from 12pm until 4pm.
There will be demonstrations throughout the day, vehicle extrication and safety advice from crew members across all emergency service teams.
The awareness day is organised by Ammanford Volunteer Police Cadets and Ammanford Young Fire Fighters which brought all emergency services together last year to go through a extrication demonstration including a mock road traffic collision.
Pc Steve Morris said: “Last year’s event was a big success and we hope that we see everyone from Ammanford Carnival on the Saturday attend the Emergency Services Show on the Sunday like last year.
“We hope this year is going to be bigger and better.”
Entry to the event is free.
