A public meeting is being held this week to discuss the future of Glangwili Hospital.
Hywel Dda University Health Board has drawn up a catalogue of controversial proposals which could see a radical overhaul to how people access care in their area, with potential closure of some hospitals in seven of nine options currently being looked at.
Carmarthen Mayor Alun Lenny has called the meeting in the wake of plans for a major shake-up to health care across West Wales.
One of the most controversial options is to open a new, major , urgent and planned care hospital in an as yet undisclosed location which would replace Glangwili Hospital, Withybush Hospital and Prince Phillip Hospital.
The meeting is being held tomorrow - Thursday, March 8 at St Peter's Civic Hall at 7pm.
