A vulnerable person in the Swansea Valley has been stopped from buying £600 worth of iTunes vouchers after receiving a call from people claiming to be HM Revenue and Customs.
A spokesperson from Ystradgynlais Police said: "If you receive such a call it is a scam.
"Do not hand over any details or money.
"Calls like this can be reported to 101 or Action Fraud UK.
