A child was left in a car on the hottest June day since 1976 while their guardian went shopping at an Ammanford supermarket.
Police were called to Tesco supermarket on June 21 following reports of a minor left in a vehicle.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “Police were made aware of concerns in relation to a child left in a car in Tesco car park for a short period.
“The person responsible for the child returned to the car after an announcement was made for them to attend at the car, and the child was safe and well.
“Officers will liaise further with them.”
