Shoppers and members of staff were evacuated from Tesco supermarket in Ammanford this morning.
Emergency services were called at 11.40am after the store’s fire alarms were activated.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “The store was evacuated as precaution and shoppers and staff have now been allowed back in.”
A Mid West and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson added that the incident was a "false alarm".
