A group of fitness enthusiasts will be taking on the Llanelli half marathon this weekend raising money for ryan4leukaemia.

The team of eight, consisting of Hayley Phillips, Shelley Dent, Stuart Dabbs, Matthew Williams, Megan Bevan, Cath Williams, Nigel 'Pasty' Jones and Leighton Morgan said they are taking themselves out of their comfort zone in their half marathon bid this Sunday.

The group, members of Primal Gym in Ammanford - home of Funky Pump - decided to raise money for the leukaemia fund set up by the late Ryan Davies.

Nigel said: "I have never done anything like this before but thanks to the support of Luke Norman and the Primal Gym team my fitness level and weight loss has been incredible.

"I am ready to take on the half marathon with a great bunch of friends for an amazing cause - please donate as much as you can."

So far the team has raised £950. If you would like to sponsor them you can do so at the gym or through the just giving page justgiving.com/crowdfunding/primal
