Here at the South Wales Guardian, we like nothing better than a good chat – a chance to share our thoughts, ideas, opinions and complaints.
We would also like to include you – our readers – in the conversation.
So, we would make the most of the wonderful world of social media and use our site to create as a forum to encourage the public to express their views on the hot topic of the week.
Every Wednesday, we’ll pose a question – it could be relating to a grassroots issue or a topic of global concern – and we’d like to hear what you have to say.
Readers will have until midnight on the following Monday to share their thoughts.
All comments should include the #swgchat hashtag.
The most interesting, enlightening, insightful and amusing Tweets will also appear in a new section in the following week’s print edition.
This week's chat topic: How would you make Wales a better place?

We want our comments to be a lively and valuable part of our community - a place where readers can debate and engage with the most important local issues. The ability to comment on our stories is a privilege, not a right, however, and that privilege may be withdrawn if it is abused or misused.
Please report any comments that break our rules.
