BRIAN Poole and The Tremeloes visit Cardiff's St David's Hall on Tuesday, September 8, as part of their 40th Anniversary tour of the UK.
Famous for a staggering 21 top 40 hits, including the instantly recognisable Do You Love Me, Silence is Golden, Twist and Shout, Here Comes My Baby and Even The Bad Times are Good, their distinctive sound has stood the test of time.
The group's inspiration was Buddy Holly's Crickets and their early hits became classics of the era .
They broke into the US market just as the Summer of Love was blossoming and their worldwide success escalated over the following years.
Original band member, Brian Poole is joined by Joe Gillingham and Jeff Brown (formally of Andy Scott's group Sweet).
Chip Hawkes rejoins the band for this special anniversary tour.
