FOLLOWING The Sleeping Beauty and last year’s Cinderella, one of the UK’s leading children’s theatre groups, The Panto Company, are back with yet another vibrant production at Ammanford Miners’ Theatre, on Saturday, December 19. Full of Eastern promise and loaded with laughter, toe-tapping songs and plenty of audience participation, Aladdin is the latest tale to undergo The Panto Company’s special treatment.
Aladdin is the lazy son of Widow Twankey. He doesn’t seem to have anything to do with his time – except fall in love with Princess Jasmine.
But things are about to change as Aladdin soon finds himself part of the evil Abanazer’s wicked plot to acquire a magic lamp in the cave of wonders.
And the lamp holds a very big, very blue secret. Will the wicked Abanazer get his clutches on it?
Will Princess Jasmine find the boy of her dreams? And will Widow Twankey finally wear something that doesn’t look like an explosion in a paint factory? Come down to ‘Old Peking’ for a laughter-packed, colourful seasonal adventure aimed at younger fans! Tickets, priced £7 and £5.50 concessions, are available from the box office: 0845 226 3510.
