The pantomime tradition is a much loved element of the festive season which delights children and entertains adults throughout the season.

Ammanford Community Theatre are back with their brand new pantomime - Jack and the Beanstalk.

The group, alongside Starquest and Statik dance troupes will bring four performances to the Miners' Theatre, Ammanford on Friday, December 6 at 7pm, Saturday, December 7 at 1.30pm and 5.30pm and Sunday, December 8 at 1.30pm.

Prepare for singing, dancing and much hilarity as a fun cast bring to life the classic tale of Jack, a reluctant cow, some magic beans, a golden hen, a beanstalk and a giant. Great fun for all the family.

Community Theatre director, Dave Jenkins, said: Jack and The Beanstalk is going to be our most exciting panto yet, we have an excellent all age cast who are working extremely hard in rehearsals to put on some great performances.

"We are also fortunate to have Starquest and Statik dance company’s involved with us, once more. With a giant, a beanstalk, a disobedient cow, a hilarious dame and a loveable Jack, what more could anyone ask for? This will truly be an all singing, acting and dancing extravaganza, not to be missed. Get your tickets while you still can."

Tickets are priced, £9 for adults and £7 for child/seniors and are available from Ammanford libaray, the theatre box office by rining 0845 2263510 or online at www.theatrausirgar.co.uk
