Ammanford RFC took part in the annual Andy Powell Memorial Cup.
This year's match against Morriston took place in the sunshine at Maes Collen, Morriston on August 31.
The game, an annual pre-season fixture, honours Andy Powell, a celebrated coach and player who represented both teams during his career.
A minute's applause for the "gentleman of rugby" preceded the kick-off.
Ammanford didn't hesitate to get on the scoreboard, with Callan Davies scoring the first try out wide.
The team continued to dominate the game, try after try, from Josh Watkins, Liam Smith, Marco Dallavalle, Fraser Gregory, and a double from Ollie Harris.
Sam Potter added to the score with a try and five conversions.
Morriston fought till the end, scoring three converted tries.
Ultimately, it was Ammanford who triumphed with a final score of 55-21, an excellent warm-up for their initial 2024-25 WRU Championship West match on Saturday, September 7 away to Dunvant.
Their first home game follows a week later, with Trebanos visiting.
Celebrations will include the club's annual ladies day event, with participants enjoying afternoon tea and Prosecco.
