In a cricket match affected by poor weather, Ammanford fell short, losing by six wickets to Swansea at home.
Having lost the toss, Ammanford were first up to bat, making a stable start.
Standouts included Evans, who made 41 runs, and Owen with 30, creating a respectable partnership of 76 from 19 overs.
Unfortunately, both lost their wickets on either side of the drinks break.
A secondary partnership between Xavier Clarke and Stephan Muller (42 off 66 balls), helped maintain the pace during the adverse weather.
However, Muller was caught mid-off by opposing player Moore, scoring 19 before his dismissal.
Clarke amassed a commendable 50 runs from 59 balls.
Clarke's prowess was further displayed, hitting three sixes in the last over, totalling an unbeaten 61 runs.
Ammanford achieved a total of 175 for six off the revised 39 overs and gained four batting points.
Swansea faced a temporary setback when Kurtis Marsh, scoring 21, was stumped by Rhodri Davies.
Despite this, Brad Wadlan, notched up 68 runs before being bowled out by Owen Davies.
With effective bowling by Xavier causing runs to lessen during the central overs, the pressure mounted.
However, Swansea's Will Davey, who scored 39 not out, and Daniel Rowe, 27 not out, rose to the challenge.
The pair successfully nudged Swansea over the finish line, with 14 balls remaining.
Ammanford remains one place above the relegation zone, just two points above Neath and 10 off bottom team Pentyrch.
Next week, they face Cardiff in the penultimate game of the season.
