IT may not have been the sort of exposure they'd be hoping for at this stage of a normal season, but players from Ammanford AFC and RFC made the television last week.
Both clubs had members who featured on the S4C programme Antur Adre last Thursday night, a series following family and friends who are holidaying closer to home this year - and are given some guidance on what Wales can offer.
The footage certainly made light hearted viewing, with many of the players ending up muddy and soaked after struggling to get to grips with some of the tasks set.
Meanwhile, Ammanford RFC are also hoping to set up a working group for the mini and junior section at the club.
The first scheduled meeting in Friday, November 13, pending Covid-19 restrictions, and any parents or guardians interested have been asked to contact the club.
e are deeply saddened to hear the passing of Gerald Roberts
Gerald represented the club during the 50s & 60s. Gerald also played for Swansea & represented the Baa Baas
He was also a proud member of the Ammanford Silver Band.
Our thoughts are with his family at this sad time
