CWMAMMAN United's development side picked up an impressive victory at rivals Cwm Wanderers to progress to the Division Three Reserves Cup Final.
Travelling to Cwmtwrch for the semi final, both sides had to contest with a heavy pitch following the previous day's downpour.
It certainly did not deter the visitors as they came flying out of the blocks and in what was probably their best performance of the season they overpowered the opposition to take a 5-1 half time lead.
In the second half Wanderers brought on a strong bench and as the pitch took it’s toll the match evened up and a mini fight back saw the end result being a 7-4 win for Cwmamman to reach the final.
It was an impressive display from the development side, whose goals came from braces from Josh Jones and Mike Scourfield, as well as strikes from Cameron Jones and Nick Spowart.
The final goal for came courtesy of an own goal.
The development side will hope to continue their form which leaves them with the possibility of a league and cup double.
