Llandeilo welcomed Ammanford for the second time this season having won the opening encounter.
The home side got the opening score by crashing up the middle to go over for a try. Llandeilo's strong pack earned the home team a couple of kickable penalties which were put over.
Ammanford’s only response of the half was a Ioan Jones penalty.
The second half was predominantly a slog in the mud, but with time running out Ammanford attacked off a 22m scrum.
Rhys Tench fed wing Owain Thomas on the angle who went over under the posts.
A last minute Ammanford penalty gained the visitors a one point victory, 16-17.
