CWMGORS were unable to add to their winning run as they suffered a heavy 32-3 defeat at Nantymoel in Division 3A West Central.
They took the lead early through a Jordan Smith penalty, but it was to be all Nantymoel after that.
Some strong running by both Nantymoel’s forwards and backs saw them put the pressure on the Cwmgors defence , and they eventually crossed for a converted try to make it 7-3.
Cwmgors held on until half time, but the second half saw the host's run in four tires, three unconverted and one converted, as well as adding a penalty to their total as they claimed a 32-3 victory.
The result leaves Cwmgors third bottom in the league, but ten points clear of Tonmawr at the foot of the table, though they have played three games more.
They will hope to bounce back with a win as they host local rivals Cwmllynfell next Saturday.
