The annual Evolution Super6's charity touch rugby tournament is due to take place this weekend.

The event, organised by Evolution a Health and Fitness Centre of Cross Hands, is this year raising money for Zion Griffiths.

Zion, 1, from Ammanford was born with a rare brain condition.

His parents are currently raising money to build him a sensory room to help his development.

This year's event will take place on Saturday at Penybanc RFC and feature 20 teams taking part.

The first game will kick off at 11am with day finishing at around 5pm.

As well as an exciting day of rugby, those in attendance will be treated to live music, a Gin and Prosecco bar, hog roast, the Children’s ‘Race with the Rugby Stars’ along with some fun rugby skills and challenges run by the Penybanc Rugby Junior coaching team from 3pm.

The event will welcome some special rugby stars and international referee Nigel Owens will once again be taking control of some games at the event.

Entry to the Event will be £5 per adult and free for under 18’s.

All proceeds for the entry fees plus other proceeds of the event will all be donated to help Zion.
