Division 3A West Central

Bryncoch - 62

Cwmgors - 28

Cwmgors slipped to a heavy defeat at Bryncoch on the weekend which leaves them adrift of mid table in Division 3A West Central, though safely clear of the bottom as well.

Bryncoch kicked-off, and a Cwmgors fumble soon gave them an attacking lineout on the 22 metre line.

Bryn won that lineout, and a neat move bringing in the blind side wing saw them cross under the post for a converted try.

From the restart the hosts ran the ball back at Cwmgors resulting in another converted try with only 3 minutes on the clock.

Cwm responded with a try of their own through Mathew Lemon, before Bryncoch ran in another two tries before half time.

Trailing 31-7 at the break, Cwm were unable to grab the first score of the second half, as the hosts added another try before Lemon got his second for the away side.

Two more tries for the home team were once again answered by Lemon who secured his hat trick, as Mathew Birt added his third conversion of the game.

In a similar pattern, Bryncoch crossed twice before Dylan Hills grabbed a bonus point score for Cwmgors, as Birt converted once again.
