A group of students got the chance to visit the set of S4C's 'Jonathan' programme ahead of the Wales v England six nations match this weekend.

Around 70 Ysgol Dyffryn Aman Sixth form students were members of the audience at the recording in Cardiff with the programme set to be broadcast on the eve of the match - Friday, February 9.

In addition S4C held a workshop for year 12 students in school recently called 'Taith Gwaith Cartref'.

The event coincided with the return of the popular drama which follows life in a fictitious welsh comprehensive school.

The purpose of the workshop was to discuss important issues being dealt with in the new series including pressures on young people and depression as well as alcohol related violence.

The event was hosted by S4C presenter Owain Williams and actors Shelley Rees and Lisa Jen Brown from the series were in attendance.
