Cwmamman United let slip a two-goal lead in the latter stages of the game, before a 95th minute winner meant they went down 3-2 at Dinas Powys in the Ardal South West League.

For the second week running Cwm had started well, despite having to change goalkeeper and both full backs on the morning of the game while also missing player manager Ryan Thomas.

Ryan Hurlow scored an excellent opening goal and with Ross Morgan prominent in midfield, Cwm looked lively.

Geraint Rees was playing well in a more defensive role, and Stuart Dunn and Grant Rees looked solid, while Gareth Howarth controlled the defence.

Keena Hinds and Kyle Ashford were constant threats, and it could have been two when a Calem Rees shot hit the bar.

Cwm doubled their lead on 53 minutes when great work by Hurlow set up Gareth Howarth  to make it 2-0, and they also saw an effort chalked off for offside.

The hosts made a number of substitutions and sub Luke Garland pulled one back, before a hotly contested penalty saw Gareth Emmanuel equalise.

Terry Maynard was then dismissed for his second booking, and there was a sense of inevitability as Jack Harrold hit the 95th minute winner.
