A TUMBLE man must pay more than £1,000 after driving a car without insurance or an MOT.
Llanelli Magistrates’ Court heard Jonathan Robert Edwards, of Banc y Gors, Upper Tumble, was driving a Vauxhall Astra, in Heol Ddu, Drefach, with no insurance in force covering the use of the vehicle and without an MOT.

He was fined £660 for driving without insurance and a further £220 fine for driving a vehicle without an MOT. Edwards was also ordered to pay a £88 surcharge and £90 costs, making a combined total of £1,058. His licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
