POLICE in Ammanford are appealing for help from the public in tracing the so-called 'Wolfman" of Pantyffynnon tips, who has not been seen for some time.

A spokeswoman said Wayne John Morgan, 37 has been living an alternative lifestyle around the Pantyffynnon area.

"He has not been seen by his family for four years, but now concerns have been raised about his welfare," she added.

"We have been aware of a man known locally as 'Wolfman' living in the Pantyffynnon woods area for a number of years," said Sgt Teresa Ross. "He is believed to have been living rough, and is not known to claim benefits of be registered with any agency.

"However after a substantial period of not making any contact with family members, relatives are now concerned for his welfare.

"I'd ask anyone walking in and around the Pantyffynnon and Tycroes area who may have seen this man to please get in contact with us and let us know when any sightings took place.

"Also, as he is living rough, he may be hungry and on the look-out for food. If you are suspicious that any food items are missing from your stores, or whether any outbuildings such as garden sheds and garages have been disturbed, then please contact us."
