CALLING all Divas and Crooners, following the overwhelming success of Ammanford Miner's Theatre's Amman Valley Pop Idol competition they have decided to do it again.
The Theatre is teaming up with Symphonica Tywi to offer local talent the opportunity to sing live with a full-scale orchestra.
The competition is open to anyone over the age of 15, that's right, even if you are 115 you can enter. Auditions take place at the theatre on Thursday, May 1. There will be an entry fee of £2 and the contenders can choose which day to attend the auditions.
If contestants wish to be accompanied by a piano at the audition the music must be lodged at the theatre seven days before hand.
If contestants need a backing tape they must bring adequate facilities to play the music.
The chosen finalists will be brought back for rehearsals on Sunday, June 1, and the event will be staged on Saturday, July 5.
