A male motorcyclist has been killed in a collision with a police car last night (Wednesday) on Betws Road, Ammanford at 11.35pm.
The Welsh Ambulance Service said the 39 year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The motorcyclists next-of-kin are being contacted by police.
Dyfed Powys Police appealed for witnesses and said the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) had been informed. Any witnesses should contact Ammanford police station on 0845 330 2000.
