Trap Show marks 60th anniversary with large turnout

The Trap Show, held on Saturday, July 25, featured various competitions, including sheep and equine classes, a domestic and horticulture tent, and a dog show.

Local farmer Robert Evans took home the champion title in the sheep section with his Llandovery Whiteface, while Gracey Evans from Pontardawe won top honours in the horse section.

Show presidents, Dai and Bronwen Williams, were busy distributing awards and trophies throughout the day.

The event also offered a vintage vehicle and tractor parade, a mini-digger challenge, children's sports, and evening musical entertainment from soloist Jemma Krysa.

Stalls, spinning and weaving displays, and birds of prey were also part of the attractions.
