With a 4.8 star rating out of five and almost 1000 reviews, it’s no surprise The Warren on Mansel Street is ranked as the sixth best restaurant in Carmarthenshire.
This is another place that provides meaty masterpieces but it’s selection of high-quality ice cream is a quirky option allowing it to stand out from other carnivorous establishments.
Plus, The Warren takes pride in using local produce, so everything served is fresh and not out of a tin.

Dexter seems to be the man when it comes to serving steak because there is a steakhouse on King Street ranked as the second-best restaurant in Laugharne.
This restaurant offers brilliant service and well-presented dishes.
The only noticeable difference is the steakhouse in King Street opens from 5:30-9pm during the week and 12pm-9pm on Sunday, whereas Coracle Way maintains the same 12pm-10pm hours throughout the week.

The New Curiosity on King Street, Carmarthen is not the cheapest restaurant in Carmarthenshire.
But there is nothing on their menu that will disappoint you.
Vegetarians can delve into a winter salad with roasted sweet potato, tenderstem broccoli, pomegranate, pickled beetroot and balsamic caviar for starter then a butternut squash, chestnut and cranberry cake with roast potatoes for main.
Meanwhile, carnivores can indulge into a chicken liver parfait with rapeseed crispbread for starter followed by slow roasted silverside of beef, Yorkshire pudding and roast potatoes.
Then there is a delightful selection of desserts like a seasonal fruit crumble or a Teifi coffee and Merlyn Liquor affogato.

2. Poon Street Food
If you like oriental dishes, Poon Street Food exists on The Grist in Laugharne to blow you away with extraordinary, Thai flavours.
Despite being one of the tinier restaurants in Carmarthenshire, Poon Street Food has satisfied numerous locals with their Thai green curry, crunchy spring rolls, fresh papaya salad, chicken pad Thai and hot and sour soup.
Not to mention, their coffee and wide selection of cakes like walnut, lemon, carrot to get you through those tough mornings.

With almost 400 reviews and an average rating of 4.5 stars out of 5, The Ship Aground in Burry Port is the best restaurant in Carmarthenshire according to Tripadvisor.
A review from this month said: "We visited this lovely place last week whilst staying with friends nearby. It's more of a quality restaurant than a pub, the food is excellent as was the service.
"The landlord/ owner is very friendly and explained in detail why the chips ate probably the best we've ever had.
"The Persian style lamb shank was superb as were all the other plates we sampled. We will definitely return when we are in the area, also prices are very good."
