Matthew Rees appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court accused of assaulting, strangling and threatening to kill a woman.
A MAN has been accused of assaulting, strangling and threatening to kill a woman.
Matthew Rees, 43, of Nant Y Dderwen in Drefach, was accused of a series of offences relating to an alleged incident in Llanelli on November 11.
Rees was charged with assaulting a woman, causing her actual bodily harm, and strangling her.
He was also accused of threatening to kill her on that same date.

The case came before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on November 13, and was sent on to Swansea Crown Court.
Rees was remanded into custody, and will next appear in court to enter his pleas on December 13.
