A campaign has been launched to recruit social workers in Carmarthenshire.
Carmarthenshire County Council is urging experienced social workers to consider relocating to the county for an improved quality of life.
The aim is to attract qualified professionals by showcasing the county's many appealing aspects.
This includes its scenic beauty, lively nightlife, and family-friendly environment.
The council is particularly keen on filling vacancies in their adults, children’s, and integrated services teams.
Online information sessions are scheduled from September 11 to October 7, providing details about the salary, benefits, and lifestyle in Carmarthenshire.
There are also one-to-one sessions for more specific information on housing, schools, health, and social care.
Councillor Jane Tremlett, cabinet member for health and social services, said: "Our new recruitment campaign looks to entice qualified social workers from areas across the UK to consider a career in Carmarthenshire and to make the move to our fantastic county.
"We have a proud tradition of growing our own social workers here in Carmarthenshire, but alongside this, we are seeking experienced social workers to join our teams and help make a difference to the lives of children and adults."
The council is targeting social workers from surrounding areas to join their well-supported teams, promising a good work/life balance.
Councillor Tremlett added: "With well-supported teams and a good work/life balance, I would encourage anyone interested in learning more to sign up to one of our informal online information sessions where they can learn more."
The campaign, which is part of the council's ongoing efforts to bolster their social services, is expected to attract interest from across the UK.
