A £1.8 MILLION industrial park in Capel Hendre is ready to open for business.
Five hi-tech manufacturing units at Parc Hendre have been completed and are ready to let.
Carmarthenshire County Council and the Welsh Assembly Government is behind the 20,000 sq ft development.
Regeneration chiefs say the scheme will bring "a huge boost" to the local economy and create up to 60 jobs.
It is part of a £450 million masterplan to help regenerate the whole county, and a massive investment in new premises for small and medium enterprises.
The development includes three units measuring 5,000sq ft and another two at 2,500 sq ft.
Deputy Minister for Regeneration Leighton Andrews said the Assembly Government had provided £1.25m towards the development which will play a significant role in the wider regeneration of the area.
Cllr Clive Scourfield, the council's Regeneration Executive Board Member Cllr Clive Scourfield said: "This project is a huge boost for Capel Hendre and the whole of Carmarthenshire."
