A MAN has been given a suspended prison sentence for stealing cutlery sets from a Gwendraeth Valley shop.
Ryan Robinson, 50, of Rheidol Avenue, Clase, Swansea, admitted one charge of theft from a shop at Llanelli Magistrates Court on July 25.
He admitted that on July 23, he went to Leekes in Cross Hands and stole eight cutlery sets, two Ninja air fryers and two pillows to the value of £1,571.
He was jailed for 18 weeks, which has been suspended for 24 months. The court did this due to a long history of similar offending and the offence was committed during the period of post-sentence supervision for a previous conviction.
He has to carry out 25 days of rehabilitation activity requirement and pay £114 surcharge and £85 costs.
