SOMETIMES when people feel nostalgic, they turn to old photos or memories to relive the often 'good old days.'

Many are reminded of old sporting achievements, their school days, hobbies and much more.

Today we take a look through the South Wales Guardian archives for some old photos from the Gwaun Cae Gurwen area including school classes, bands, sporting stars, acting groups and circus performers.

How many of these faces do you recognise?
