A MAN who assaulted two police officers among a number of offences has been given a community order.
Steffan Homans, 41, of New Ceidrim Road, Brynteg, Ammanford, admitted four charges at Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 23.
Homans admitted two charges of assaulting an emergency worker by beating. Both counts relate to January 21 when he assaulted two police officers in Ammanford.
He also admitted a charge of possession of a class A drug after being caught with cocaine on the same date and a charge of possession of a class C drug after being caught with 61 tablets of Bromalozam on September 25.
He was given a 12-month community order for the assault charges with a six-week curfew between the hours of 7pm and 6am.
He had to pay a £40 fine and £170 costs and the drugs were forfeited and destroyed.
