TWO Amman Valley men were in court recently after breaching their respective community and sexual harm prevention orders.

Steven George Thomas, 41, of Betws Road, Betws, Ammanford, admitted breaching a community order at Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 10.

He committed the offence by failing to attend unpaid work requirements on October 22 and November 12.

He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £60 costs. The community order – which was put in place by the same court on January 28, 2020, is set to continue.

Jack Morgan, 51, of Station Road, Upper Brynamman, admitted two charges of breaching a sexual harm prevention order at Llanelli Magistrates Court on January 20.

He admitted that on December 28 in Brynamman, he failed to produce his mobile phone when requested by police.

He also admitted the same offence which took place on December 29.

Morgan had been placed on a sexual harm prevention order by Cardiff Crown Court on February 2, 2017, and one of the conditions is that he provides his mobile phone to police when asked.

He was made subject of a rehabilitation activity requirement and to carry out the Horizon Programme for the breach. He also has to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and to pay £114 surcharge and £85 costs.
